Slow news day folks, but I thought I'd throw a random update out there.
I ran out of powdered iced tea the other day, and you may have noticed, I like my iced tea. I decided to experiment and I found a nice tasty alternative to my precious powdered iced tea. Amazingly, it's mere home-brewed iced tea, but damn it's good and kinda addicting o3o

For all those who want to know how I make mine or want to try it, here's some directions:

What you need:
- 1 2-Litre/Quart pitcher
- 1 small saucepan (watch out, enamel may stain)
- 1 kettle
- 2 trays ice cubes (medium cubes)
- 2/3 cups sugar (approx.)
- 2-3 tea bags (varies by tea type)

Now to make it:
- Boil up about 750mL/3 cups of water (I boil in the kettle because it's faster)
- Mix the water in the saucepan with 2-3 teabags for a minute or two. Don't worry if the mixture gets very dark, it's normal. Remove the teabags when done.
- Dissolve the 2/3 cups of sugar into the dark tea.
- put the 2 trays worth of ice cubes into the pitcher then pour the hot tea over them and top up with water until the pitcher is at 2 Litres (2 Quarts).
- Stir until chilled and serve

Some Notes:
* Earl Grey tea is probably the best I've had, but any tea should work alright. I'm drinking Pomegranate Green Tea iced tea right now
* The amount of sugar and teabags are still up to your preference, feel free to experiment.
* I use the ice to chill the iced tea quickly. If you want to wait, just mix with cool water and refrigerate.
* Watch out if you're using an enamel saucepan, as the tea may stain the enamel. I'd suggest an aluminum/stainless pan for this stuff; my enamel saucepan is becoming ever so brown
